PortTechForum

The PortTechForum is a monthly networking event held on the second Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at LA Harbor College.
The Forum provides entrepreneurs, service providers, industry experts and investors the opportunity to come together and exchange ideas, discuss business-related topics and develop relationships. The format of each Forum varies, but typically the session begins with a chance for each participant to introduce themselves. Then a clean technology entrepreneur or business owner pitches their company and product or presents an effective business strategy.
Frequently at the Forum, business service providers present on their area of expertise. Topics cover everything from accounting and tax advice, to how to build an executive team, to how to buy insurance for business overseas. Occasionally, broader topics such as energy and the environment become panel discussions with several experts weighing in from different viewpoints.
A regular feature at the PortTechForum is the Marketing Minute, when marketing and branding experts provide a few tips and tricks. Participants are encouraged to stay, mingle and network after presentations.
